On June 3, 2026, a Republican scientific-practical conference titled “Current Issues in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics” will be held, organized by the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Technical University, and the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association.
The aim of the conference is to create an intellectual dialogue platform for discussing current scientific and practical problems in the fields of cybersecurity and digital forensics, to assess the current state of fundamental and applied research conducted in these areas in the country, and to identify future challenges and prospects.

Detection of cyberattacks and analysis of cyber threats
Legal and ethical aspects of cybersecurity

Artificial intelligence technologies in digital forensics
Technologies for the collection and analysis of digital traces and evidence
Digital forensics of cybercrimes and cyber incidents
Digital identification and behavioral analysis technologies
Digital forensics of stationary and mobile cyber-physical systems and devices
Information warfare and digital media forensics
Legal and institutional issues of digital forensics
Scientific-methodological, кадровая подготовка, and educational issues in digital forensics
Requirements for paper submission:
Scientific papers dedicated to current scientific and practical issues relevant to the conference topics are accepted;
Papers may be submitted in one of the conference working languages (Azerbaijani, English, or Russian);
The paper should reflect the relevance of the problem, problem statement, solution approaches, and the scientific and practical significance of the obtained results;
The paper length must be at least 4 pages (including tables, figures, and references);
Equations must be prepared using the Microsoft Equation editor (with standard parameters);
The paper format must comply with IEEE standards (Sample: Sample_IEEE (aze).doc);
Papers submitted in Azerbaijani and Russian must include the title, abstract, and authors’ names and surnames in English at the end;
Papers must be submitted electronically to forensics.conf@gmail.com;
Presenters must prepare slides in MS PowerPoint in “On-screen Show” format.
Important dates:
April 25, 2026 – Deadline for paper submission
May 12, 2026 – Notification of authors about the results of the scientific review
June 3, 2026 – Conference date
