Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The adoption of the Law of Science by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was warmly approved by the scientific community and scientists. Because, there was not any legislative base in Azerbaijan so far, which providing regulation and implementation of the scientific activity.The new law conducts development of scientific field, as well as a number of important issues related in scientific activity.

Thus, under law, scientists will be able to get revenue for their inventions from manufacturing facilities, including can be engaged in entrepreneurial activity due to their professions. In its turn, it will lead scientists to expand activities in areas areas they are engaged in practice, on the other hand encourage greater scientific research. I think that the new law will increase young scientists and specialists’ interest in science and contribute to raise Azerbaijan science to a higher level.
