Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On August 14 this year, a professor at the department of Mathematics at the Institute of Information Technology "COMSATS" Pakistan - Muhammad Aslam Noor was awarded the highest civil award of Pakistan "Stara-i-Imtiaz" for recognition of his achievements in mathematical sciences.

About reported scientist in his letter addressed to the Director of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Baku State University, one of the editors of the journal "Applied and Computational Mathematics", Academician Fikrat Aliyev. In the letter, he emphasized the role of Academician Fikrat Aliyev in gaining this award.

Note that Aslam Noor is also a member of the editorial board of the first impact factor of Azerbaijani journal "Applied and Computational Mathematics".
