Employees of the Department of Literature of the Institute of Humanitarian Studies of ANAS Ganja Division composed "People's Calendar."

At the the Department reported that over the years by employees of Department collected samples of folklore Ganja region by older people living in various regions and villages. In some folklore materials provided with detailed information about the names of months, seasons, holidays, as well as dishes, sweets, sherbet, supplied to the public in the evening.

Therefore, consistently placing these months and national holidays, the staff of the Department composed "People's Calendar".

It was noted that, according to the calendar, today in the country will start Boyuk Chilla that is winter. At the same time, the longest different night. Accompanied by sharp frosts, freezing water, and the long winter nights of Boyuk Chilla after 40 days give way to Kichik Chilla.
