Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

In 2004, notable representative of social thought in Azerbaijan, great enlightener, well-known scientist and poet Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov would turn 220.

Possesing encyclopedic knowledge and compehernsive outlook, Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov had created a rich heritage covering various areas of science and culture.

Governed by Clause 32, Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in order to celebrate the 220th jubilee of Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov, who owns an invaluable contribution to the development of science and culture, I hereby resolve as follows:

1. To task Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences joint with Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and taking into account the proposals of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, to prepare and omplement Action Plan on 220th jubille of Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov.

2. To task Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan resolving the issues stemming out this Order.
