Ismayilli region "Center of Heydar Aliyev" hosted the final event of the project "Youth in the world of science and artistic literature".

The main objective of the project "Youth in the light of science and artistic literature", carried out from November 2016 on Ismayilli region with the financial support of Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organizational support of ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami is to develop the scientific and artistic thinking of schoolboys, increase their scientific and creative abilities and intellectual potential.

In this regard, at regional schools questionnaires, exercises, competitions, exhibitions and other cultural events were held, as well as organized seminars and trainings.

The pilot project was implemented in full secondary school #1 of Ismayilli, full secondary school of Tazakend and secondary schools of Topcu village.

The event began with a performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then, head of the district executive power, Professor, Honored Worker of Science Mirdammad Sadigov, welcomed the guests and noted the importance of the project.

Then, Chairman of Committee of Science and Education of the Milli Majlis, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli talked about politics, successfully carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the field of science and literature, as well as the reforms carried out in the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

He also spoke about the activities of the Institute of Literature after Nizami in the direction of the development of literature and literature and emphasized the role of the project "Youth in the light of science and artistic literature" to attract students to scientific and artistic creativity.

Employee of Institute Literature after Nizami, the project manager Gulnar Yunusova informed details to complete the project, its objectives and significance, important results and basic statistics. The instructor of the project PhD in Philology, associate professor Bashir Azizaliyev brought to the attention of the challenges ahead and the final results of the project and training.

Head of Department "Literary relations between Azerbaijan and Asia" of the Institute of Literature after Nizami of ANAS, Doctor of Plology, Professor Bedirhan Ahmadov spoke on "Ismayilli literary circles", which analyzed the work of famous poets and writers of the district.

Head of the Department of Education Ismayilli region Rasim Orujov proposed to the forefront of emerging importance in the implementation of the project in the development of a new generation of co-operation ties. Director of secondary school #1 of Ismayilli Gunduz Gadirov, Director of the school of Topcu Haver Allahverdiyev and Deputy Director of school in the village Tezekend Agalar Badalov which are the main performers of the project in their speeches talked about the interest, organization of activities implemented in the framework of the project, as well as the possibilities of modern school science societies, literary clubs and extracurricular activities.

At the event, students, lovers of literature Gulsum Askerli, Aynur Huseynova, Zarifa Halimova, Nazenin Kazimova and Arifa Garayeva read poems of poets, from this region.

At the conclusion of the event 60 students who participated in the training within this project were awarded certificates. The winners of the works competition were awarded with diplomas and prizes.

Over 200 of books and journals, demonstrated at organized by the Institute of literature after Nizami exhibition were donated to "Center of Heydar Aliyev", school libraries and students.
