Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry held event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Honored Worker of Science, Professor Pasha Zamanov.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Agrarian sciences, Professor Alovsat Guliyev spoke about the rich scientific heritage and invaluable merits of the outstanding scientist in the development of agrochemistry in Azerbaijan. Noting that, scientist is the author of 254 scientific papers and 14 patents, A. Guliyev said that, priority areas of Pasha Zamanov's research work include studying the system of plant fertilization, which are of great importance for agriculture, agroecological features of organic waste, and the problem of land fertility.

A.Guliyev stressed that the society highly appreciates the researches of the professor in solving modern environmental problems.

Guests and other scientists who took part at the event congratulated the Professors and highly appreciated his scientific activity.
