Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A well-known representative of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia, Rector of Baku State University, Academician Abel Maharramov was awarded with the Award and Medal "Mahmud Kashgari".

The scientist was awarded with the award for exceptional merits in the development of science and education, a great role in raising the international authority of Azerbaijani science.

The international award was presented by President "Mahmud Kashgari" Fundadition Elkhan Garakhanli.
