An interactive lesson in the Nakhchivan Branch was observed by students of 204 educational institutions of the republic

With the joint organizational support of the Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS and the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, another interactive open lesson was held for students of secondary schools of the Autonomous Republic.

Director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of the Branch, corresponding member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev gave detailed information about the epic "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud", which is one of the oldest written monuments on the theme "Epos" Kitabi-Dede Gorgud and Nakhchivan”. It was noted that in this 12-battles (chapters) this folklore monument, reflecting for the most part the history of the Oghuz, tells about the way of life, customs and traditions, worldview, heroism, courage, fearlessness, courage of the Oghuz Turks. The epic "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" was written about in X-XI centuries. But the surviving specimen dates back to the 15th-16th centuries.

The linguistic scholar noted that there are also Dresden and Vatican copies of the epos. The Dresden copy is written in purely Azerbaijani Turkic. The Vatican copy is closer to the Ottoman Turkic. Despite the fact that the work "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" reflects life of the Oghuz, from the point of view of linguistic features, as well as the geographical space of the events, is more connected with Azerbaijan.

A.Guliyev, recalling the words of the great leader "Epos Kitabi-Dede Gorgud " belongs to the entire Turkic world, but his homeland - Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani people, the independent Azerbaijan state", noted that for propaganda of epos on a global scale and perpetuation of this epic in Azerbaijan, as well as expanding the reflecting ideas of patriotism by the national leader on April 20, 1997, a special decree "On the 1300th anniversary of the Dastan" Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” was signed. After this historic decree, various events were carried out to perpetuate the name of Dada Gorgud in Azerbaijan, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a monument to Dada Gorgud was installed in Nakhchivan in 1999, international symposiums were organized in Nakhchivan and Van.

The scientist also spoke about the Order of the President of the country Ilham Aliyev "On the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the first translation and publication of" Kitabi-Dede Gorgud in German" dated February 20, 2015.

It was brought to the students' attention that according to the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated July 25, 2015, the Action Plan was approved in connection with the celebration in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the 200th anniversary of the first translation and the publication of Kitabi-Dede Gorgud in German language. According to the Action Plan, the international scientific symposium "Dede Gorgud in Nakhchivan" is planned to be held in the city of Nakhchivan, the re-edition of Safarali Babayev's monograph "Toponyms of Kitabi-Dede Gorgud in Nakhchivan ", preparation of the television film" Kitabi-Dede Gorgud and Nakhchivan ", organization of open lessons and round tables on the topic, preparation of broadcasts and newspaper materials in the media.

In an open lesson, the connection between the epos Kitabi-Dede Gorgud and Nakhchivan was discussed, and it was also noted that the events and geographical names Garachuk, Alinja-gala, Darasham, Sharuk (Sharur), reflected in the epos battles, occurred and are on the territory of Nakhchivan. It was brought to the attention that the numerous toponyms in epos "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud" confirm the direct connection with Azerbaijan. Today, toponyms from "Dede Gorgud" are of great importance from the point of view of preserving and strengthening the territorial integrity of Nakhchivan.
