Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In the city of Genoa, Italy, an international conference was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Italy.

Director of the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS, Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh, head of the International Relations Department of the Institute Zohra Aliyeva and a leading researcher of the Department of the Philosophy of Theology and Cultrology Ph.D. in philosophy Elsever Samadov took part in the event at the invitation of the University of Genoa.

Speaking at the international conference with the report "Interaction of Azerbaijani and Italian Philosophy in the Present Age," I. Mammadzade spoke about the influence of philosophy on the relations between our countries. He noted that the stable Azerbaijani-Italian relations are elevated to the level of strategic partnership. He informed in detail about the successful work of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Italy and the significance of the visit of Pope Francis to Azerbaijan.

The event was continued by mutual discussion of the topic by the participants of the conference.
