Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Astana held an international symposium on "Reading the nation in the reading world".

The event, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan and the National Library, was attended by the director of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Academician Nailya Velikhanly, Deputy Directors of this structure - Dr.history Nargiz Aliyeva and Dr. of Philology Mahfouz Zeynalov.

Speakers on the topic "The socio-cultural environment of historical museums and their influence on the formation of the younger generation (on the example of the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan)", "The History of the Book Collection of the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan", "Information Technologies in the Museum Area" rapporteurs reported on the work done in these areas.

Within the framework of the symposium, which will be last two days, the 5th International Conference of Directors of National Libraries of Turkic Speaking Countries was also held.
