According to the US National Sun Observatory, a full solar eclipse will take place in August 2017. According to researchers, the crown of the Sun will be several times higher than the previous ones.
The eclipse will take 2 minutes and 40 seconds, and the width of the moon will be 115 kilometers.
This rare nature event, partly covering Western Europe and South America, will only be seen by US residents.
The next solar eclipse will take place on 2 September 2035.
