The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2017 was awarded to Richard H. Thaler "for his contributions to behavioural economics".

Let's remind, the Nobel Prize in economics is the most prestigious award in the field of economics. This award was first awarded in 1969 on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Swedish bank.

The prize amount is 1 million 119 thousand dollars.
