Corresponding members of ANAS Novruz Guliyev and Alishir Musayev awarded the "Progress" Medal

By the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated November 8, 2017 "On awarding a group of people actively participating in the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan", correspondent members of ANAS

Novruz Guliyev and Alishir Musayev were awarded the "Progress" medal.

It should be noted that, Novruz Guliyev, the well-known scientist in the field of biochemistry, physiology and molecular biology of photosynthesis in our country, correspondent member of ANAS, is Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has been heading the activities of scientific research institutes operating in the Ministry since 2005. The scientist's scientific activity is devoted to the study of photosynthetic enzymes and their regulation in auto-organisms.

For the first time, a biochemist scientist has discovered a cyclic adenosine monofosfat system, a universal regulator for phototrophic bacteria.

 The main scientific directions of the director of the Scientific Research Medical Reproduction Institute of Azerbaijan, Honored Scientist, correspondent member of ANAS Alishir Musayev are directed to the physical and cortical factors of the medical treatment of various diseases of the nervous system devoted to the study of neurophysiological bases. He is the author of international scientific studies aimed at solving the most pressing problems of the newest therapeutic methods and principles of vascular pathology of the brain and spinal cord.

Under his leadership, 2 doctoral and 17 candidate dissertations defended.

The scientist was elected as a corresponding member of ANAS in 2017.
