Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Employees of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology of ANAS visited the expedition in Devechi port, Absheron peninsula, Ganja, Goygol, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shabran regions and St. Petersburg. During the expedition, parasitological materials were collected from populations and wild mammals, plants, and animals living in water.

These materials, which were studied by appropriate parasitological methods, were labeled in 70- and 95-percent alcohol, as well as in a three-percent form. Species were identified during laboratory analysis on helminthological materials.

The research is continuing.
