An open lesson on "The speed of chemical reactions."Balance" held

The co-organized by ANAS Nakhchivan Division and Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic held the next interactive lesson on "The speed of chemical reactions."Balance".

Head of the Laboratory of Chemistry and Technology of Mineral Resources of the Institute of Natural Resources of the Department Gorkhmaz Huseynov gave detailed information on the activation energy, the calculation of the reaction rate, the factors influencing the reaction rate, the chemical balance.

In his speech, G. Huseynov noted that the substances are included in the reaction in the event of a violation or weakening of chemical bonds between atoms and molecules. He stressed that some energy is required to break and weaken ties.

Speaking about the factors that, affect the reaction rate, the scientist said that with the participation of active substances, the reaction proceeds rapidly, and with the participation of passive substances - slowly. It was reported that, the dependence of the reaction rate on temperature is determined by the Van't Hoff rule, and the influence of external conditions (density, temperature and pressure) on the balance is established by the Le Chatelier principle.

During the lesson, the tests on the chemical balance were brought to the students' attention via video.
