Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

According to the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of History of ANAS, a Center for Strategic Thinking and Conceptual History has been established in the scientific institution.

The new center will define priorities for Azerbaijan's place and role in global history. The center will pay attention to the place and role of Azerbaijan in the Turkic-Muslim world, in particular, on the importance of its strategic geographical location. Through this center, our nation's history will be propagated correctly in foreign countries, including Turkey and other Turkic-speaking countries.

It should be noted that an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Institute of History and the Institute of Strategic Thinking of Turkey at the international scientific conference "Azerbaijan Democratic Republic: a glorious page of the history of Azerbaijani statehood". According to the document, the problems of strategic importance for the history of Azerbaijan, Turkey and other turkic-muslim republics will be identified and joint studies will be conducted in this direction. It is also planned to hold an international scientific conference in Baku in September jointly organized by the Institute of History and the Institute of Strategic Thinking. Famous historians of the world are expected to attend the event.
