Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Students representing our country, attended in an individual and team competitions at the III International Olympic Games in Moscow, Russian Federation.

At the Olympiad in chemistry, the 10th grade student of the Chemical and Biological Republican Lyceum - Ali Aliyev awarded a gold medal, and the student of the tenth grade of the Gymnasium with a deviation of technology, humanities and natural sciences of Agdash - Farid Aliyev awarded a bronze medal. In the subject of mathematics, silver was awarded to the pupil of the ninth grade Lyceum with a bias in physics, mathematics and computer science - Murad Agazadeh. The bronze medal in computer science was given to a student of the tenth grade of the Lyceum with a bias in physics, mathematics and computer science - Ibrahim Tagizadeh.

It should be noted that, the international event was attended by participants of countries that distinguished themselves by their achievements. Olympiad is a team tournament in four different subjects (mathematics, computer science, chemistry and physics). The pupils who took part here have undergone a special preparatory course in the training center for Olympiads created at the Lyceum with a bias in physics, mathematics and computer science.

For the first time in 2017, at this Olympiad our students won 1 gold and four bronze medals.
