Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Senior scientific worker of the Department of Planets and minor celestial bodies of Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory after N.Tusi of ANAS Rustam Guliyev was elected a member of the International Astronomical Union (IAS) at its General Assembly in Vienna, Austria.

At the same time, R.Guliyev became a member of the MAS DİVİSİON A (Fundamental Astronomy) and DİVİSİON F (Planetary Systems and Astrobiology) commissions.
