Guided by clauses 3 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to develop remote surveillance services in the country of Open Joint-Stock Company Azerkosmos by satellite, increase the turnover of images obtained by satellite observation, and related information products, encouraging active use in central local executive bodies of progressive opportunities for public administration, creating conditions for the provision of new necessary services in different areas using satellite images and expanding the use of high-resolution satellite resources for optical observation of the Earth’s surface Azersky I hereby decree:

1. To approve the “State Program for the Development of Remote Monitoring Services for the Earth’s Surface by Satellite in the Azerbaijan Republic for 2019-2022” (attached).

2. To open Joint-Stock Company “Azerspace”:

2.1. To coordinate the implementation of measures provided for in the State Program approved by Part 1 of this Order;

2.2. Once a year inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the implementation of the measures provided for by this State Program.

3. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this Order.
