Hasanli Oruj Gafar oglu
Hasanli Oruj was born on August 15, 1950 in the Alakli village, the Sharur district. After graduating from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute, he defended his PhD on “Use of local history materials as a means of moral education of students” and his doctoral on “The system of using local history materials in shaping the personality of students”. In 2017, he was elected as a corresponding member of ANAS.

He is the author of more than 220 scientific papers, including 26 books and a monograph.

Under the guidance of a scientist were trained teachers, 1 Doctor of Science and 10 PhDs.

The author, who studies the psychological problems of modern education, in particular, such topical issues as the formation of students' personality in the educational process, gifted children in social psycho-pedagogy, psychological service in school, etc., justifies such a situation that to ensure compliance with the level of future development of modern of education in Azerbaijan to international requirements for evaluating the growing role of psychology as a science in the system of complex activities being carried out today is irreplaceable for its Aspects of preconceptions should be given proper place in the future.

Hasanli Oruj was a rector of the Nakhchivan Institute of Teachers, since 2010 was a deputy of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Fund chaired by the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 3, 2007, scientist was awarded the “Taragi” medal for scientific and pedagogical activity and by the Order dated April 5, 2014 - the honorary title “Honored Worker of Science”.

Hasanli Oruj Honored Scientist of Nakhchivan Institute of Teachers, corresponding member of ANAS died on June 18, 2018.
