Basic activity directions  

The modern Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism, which is an expression of respect for the traditions of multiculturalism and tolerance of the Great Leader of the Independent Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in political administration, as well as the ideology of Azerbaijanism, which fully reflects this worldly and human phenomenon, is a political, cultural, as it covers economic and other fields, it arouses interest in the scientific direction, especially in the field of philosophy, which studies and evaluates the progress of society, as well as the crisis, and opens the way to thought-provoking topics. .

In 2017, the "Multiculturalism and Philosophy of Tolerance" department was founded by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in accordance with Article 109, Clause 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the aim of "preserving, further developing and widely promoting the traditions of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan" in 2016. It was created in accordance with the duties arising from the Decree on the Declaration of the Year of Multiculturalism.

"Philosophy of Multiculturalism and Tolerance" studies the historical, methodological and modern problems of world multiculturalism, in parallel, the traditional sources of the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism, and at the same time modern, new and actual issues from scientific contexts, it envisages the training of scientific personnel in this field.

The "Multiculturalism and Philosophy of Tolerance" department is based on the principle of scientific interdisciplinary relations of the modern world (political philosophy) and the original author of the "Modern Model of Multiculturalism", which attracted the attention of the historical personalities and political leaders of Azerbaijan, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and the whole world, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham By fundamentally researching Aliyev's concept of multiculturalism and tolerance in political administration, common and different aspects of the idea of identity and multiculturalism, as well as other scientific and philosophical topics, for example, the development dynamics of the Azerbaijani multiculturalism model in public communications, cognitive, ethical-aesthetic, socio-cultural, psychological aspects undertakes the task of enriching the history of science.
