The work of the well-known representative of the Qajar dynasty, Prince Nadir Mirza (1827-1885) - “History, Geography and Eminent Persons of Tabriz”, kept at ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Mahammad Fuzuli was published in Azerbaijani.

The work from Persian and Arabic was translated by a fellow of the Institute of Manuscripts Rauf Sheikhzamanli.

He is also the author of explanations, comments, and the "Preface". The main scientific consultant of the publication is academician Teymur Karimli, Editor - Doctor of Philology Nasib Goyushov.

The book reflects the history of Tabriz from ancient times to the nineteenth century. Nadir Mirza wrote about his 40-year observations, using up to 100 historical documents, letters and decrees.

The book provides extensive and accurate information about the most important historical events in Tabriz, the way of life and traditions of the population, around the city, ancient buildings, geographic areas, gardens and dishes.

In addition, prominent politicians and religious figures of Tabriz, scholars, poets and ordinary people who left their mark on the history of the city are mentioned in the work.
