Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh and President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician Alexander Sergeyev visited the Institute of Physics.

Guests have been acquainted with research works carried out in this scientific institution, especially modern equipment and material-technical base.

Academician-secretary of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS, academician Nazim Mammadov informed the delegation about the main directions of its activity, important scientific findings, as well as spectroscopic ellipsometry, raman spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance and other such modern equipment and the functioning of the equipment.

Academician A.Sergeyev appreciated the activities implemented at the Institute of Physics, the innovative environment created here and wished the organization's employees success in their future activities.
