Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The 23rd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The Forum, which was transformed into a cutting-edge platform since 1997, is one of the most important economic events in the world and is organized and sponsored by the President of the Russian Federation since 2006. The purpose of the forum is to discuss economic issues with the participation of officials, business and civil society representatives.

Within the framework of the forum, a tripartite agreement on cooperation in the scientific and technical fields was signed between the Russian State Geological Prospective University named after Sergio Ordzhonikidze, Rosgeology Joint Stock Company - the Russian State Holding and ANAS. The document creates a basis for the expansion of ties between Russia and Azerbaijan.

The document was signed by the vice-president of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev.
