Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, correspondent member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev took part in an international symposium on "Modern methods of research on environmental monitoring in Central Asia and management of agricultural landscapes" in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, which took place after the official opening of the symposium, A.Guliyev made a report on "Anthropogenic Impacts on Degrading Soils in Azerbaijan

Suggestions were also made on how to effectively use the land and restore fertility.

During his visit, A. Guliyev visited the Kazakhstan Scientific Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U.Uspanov and signed a protocol of intentions on joint cooperation.
