Academic Isa Habibbeyli attended the jubilee ceremony of the Kazan Institute of Language, Literature and Art

A chain of events devoted to the 80th jubilee of the Institute of Language, Literature and Art named after G. Ibrahimov of the Kazan Tatarstan Academy of Sciences was held.

Famous linguists and art historians from Russia and neighboring countries took part in international conferences and round tables. ANAS vice-president, director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbeyli was also among the guests of honor.

During his visit to Kazan, academician I. Habibbeyli met with the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture and National Affairs of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatar writer and poet Razil Valeyev and other well-known public and state figures.

“Tatarstan is a fraternal republic for Azerbaijan, and the Tatar people are close to the Azerbaijani people in character and moral values. We are united not only by friendship, but also by fraternal relations,” ANAS vice-president said.

The scientist also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the National Cultural Autonomy "Azerbaijan" of the Tatarstan Republic for its contribution to strengthening friendship between the two countries. Also at the invitation of the Tatar writer R. Valeyev at the Museum of Literature. Abdullah Tugay met with the deputy chairman of the Public Association "Tatarstan" Emin Ramazanov.

He spoke about the recent presentation at the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan of the book “The Versatility of Abdulla Tugay, or Continuous Flight” by an Azerbaijani political scientist, historian, publicist, expert of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan Teymur Atayev.
