Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On October 30, 5th International Multidisciplinary Forum of Young Scientists “New Materials and Promising Technologies” started in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation.

At the forum organized by the Council of Young Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, our country was represented by Famin Salmanov, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, PhD.

The Azerbaijani scientist's lecture was presented at the plenary session of the forum. The speaker noted that the consistent and purposeful policy pursued by the leadership of the country on the development of Azerbaijani science in the model of ANAS is accompanied by successful results and significant achievements. He noted that the ANAS carried out important work in the development of scientific and technical potential, conducting multidisciplinary researches, expanding international relations, strengthening relations between science, education and economy, training of highly qualified personnel, coordination of research activities and others.

At the end of his speech, F. Salmanov said the traditional event was a useful platform for exchanging experience and discussing prospects for cooperation between young people from Russia and Azerbaijan, as well as other countries represented at the forum.
