Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

An employee of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS Zumrud Ismailova was elected a member of the Azerbaijan National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Members were presented ICOM cards at the event on the election of new members at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.

Having about 35,000 members from 137 countries around the world, ICOM is an international organization that brings together museum professionals on the issues of preserving and developing natural, cultural, tangible and intangible heritage, and building mutual ties via society.
