Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On December 2, at 14:00 in the main building of ANAS will be held an international scientific conference on topic "Nasimi's image in art", dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imaddaddin Nasimi.

The event will be organized by the Division of Humanitarian Sciences and Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS.

Lectures on following topics will be delivered at the two-days of conference: "Nasimi's image in sculpture art", "Imadaddin Nasimi and Azerbaijani music", "Abai's image in Kazakhstan art", "Nasimi's creativity in book graphics", "Nasimi's poetry in the context of mugham-ozan singing", etc.

Within the framework of the conference, also planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the National Arts and Design Institute of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS.
