Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS and National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The signing of the memorandum aims at enhancing the joint activities of physically challenged persons, including Paralympians in the realm of law and human rights, developing various projects related to ensuring the rights of Paralympians, participating in international programs in the realm of physical limitations, and discussing application opportunities and perspectives of international standards and practices on providing legal rights of Paralympians in our country and carrying out enlightenment in this direction.
The document also provides for the elobartion and implementation of minimum standards for the convenience of paralympians in schools, roads, sports facilities, transportation and other services, as well as development of physical restraint policies and organization of mutual training courses, conferences, worhshops and lectures.
The memorandum was signed by Ayten Mustafazadeh, director of the Institute for Law and Human Rights, Doctor of juridical sciences, and Ilgar Rahimov, President of the National Paralympic Committee.
