Employees of the Institute of Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS have extracted stibium metals from Daredagh antimony ore.
Thus, the substance extracting from alkaline solution of orange ore (sodium or potassium hydroxide) was filtered and separated from the residue. The powder-black amorphous antimony, which was obtained from the redox of filtration via various filters, was melted at a temperature of 1073-1173K and a pure metallic antimony was obtained.
These metals with various features are widely used in the manufacture of batteries for machines and mechanisms, special-purpose steel, printing fonts, electrical wiring, acid-resistant pipes and in the military industry. Amorphous antimony is also used in the production of kohul and kajal, which is used as a cosmetic product, as well as in the treatment of eyes.
As a follow-up to the study, sodium aluminum baking was obtained as the second product from the antimony filter. This chemical product is used primarily in industrial water treatment, as a conservant in preparation of vegetables, fruits, as well as canned meat, and as a bloodthirsty and vascular scorching in medicine. In addition, it is also used for dyeing fabrics, gluing paper products, tanning leather and fur.
