Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli met with the Chairman of the regional public organization “National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Moscow”, Bakhtiyar Hasanov.

During the meeting, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the scientific research carried out based on the Cooperation Agreement signed between ANAS and the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also noted that joint research on epic creativity is conducted between ANAS and the scientific institutions of Udmurtia and Yakutia, operating under the Ural and Siberian Regional Branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and that joint scientific conferences are planned to be held. Academician Isa Habibbeyli underlined that the regional public organization “National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Moscow” would be provided with the necessary support through books and monographs published by the Academy.  

The Chairman of the regional public organization “National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Moscow”, Bakhtiyar Hasanov, provided detailed information about the history and areas of activity of the organization he leads. He expressed their interest in book exchanges and the implementation of joint scientific projects with ANAS.

During the meeting, the importance of establishing relations between ANAS and the regional public organization “National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Moscow” was highlighted. Prospects for cooperation were discussed, and a relevant agreement was reached.
