The first lunar eclipse of 2020 will be recorded on the night of January 10 to 11. The penumbral eclipse of the moon with the naked eye will be poorly distinguishable.
According to the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory of ANAS, this natural phenomenon will begin at 21:08 Baku time and end at 01:12.
The lunar eclipse at 23:11 will reach its maximum. Residents of Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia will be able to watch it.
During the maximum eclipse phase, the moon will appear a little darker than a regular (full) moon. A natural phenomenon will also be observed in Azerbaijan as well.
