In the Kremlin Palace, the ceremony of awarding the prizes of the Government of Moscow to young scientists for 2019 was held.

Capital prizes are awarded to graduate students, candidates of science under the age of 36 years and doctors of science up to 40 years old inclusive. Scientists are noted for research in such fields as mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, humanitarian, social, technical and engineering sciences, ICT, as well as for developments in the field of biotechnology, aviation and space technology, urban infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, instrument engineering, Electronics, energy saving, information protection.

This time 50 prizes were awarded in the amount of 2 million rubles each. The winners were 87 people (including as part of small research teams).
