The project “Future Researchers”, implemented by the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS together with the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, continues.

Supervised by head of the laboratory of Biochemical Research at the Institute of Bioresources PhD in Biology, associate professor Ramiz Alakbarov, a ninth-grade student of school N15 in Nakhchivan Nigar Kerimova conducted a study on the “Distribution of lemon thyme in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the study of biologically active substances and their beneficial properties”. From lemon thyme are made extract, tablet and tea leaves. The composition of the extract for biologically active substances was investigated, and certain results were obtained.
