Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Russian Academy of Sciences will discuss issues related to coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation. The meeting, which will be attended by leading experts, will be held on April 9. As a result of this event, recommendations will be issued on countering the spread of COVID-19, vice president, head of the biomedical sciences section of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Vladimir Chekhonin, told RIA Novosti.

“We have several thematic councils under the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences, and one of them is the Life Sciences Council, I’m just heading it. Within the framework of this council, a special discussion is organized on issues related to coronavirus infection. It is scheduled for April 9”, said Chekhonin.
