Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Within the framework of the project “The culture that unites us”, which is implemented by the Ministry of Culture together with the TV channel “Mədəniyyət” (“Culture”), the next concert program was presented at the International Center of Mugam (IMC).

This issue of the project was dedicated to the work of the outstanding composer, People's Artist academician Arif Melikov.

During the live broadcast, mugams, folk songs and tesnifs were performed by the IMC soloists.

As a contribution to the project, master student of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, the artist Roya Hasanova has presented a portrait of Arif Melikov.
