US scientists have found that COVID-19 coronavirus is less stable in warm and humid climates than in dry and cold climates, U.S. President Donald Trump said during a press conference in the White House on Friday night.
"Every day we learn more about this enemy. Scientists from our Ministry of Homeland Security presented a report that talks about how the virus behaves at different temperatures, climates, and surfaces," he said at a briefing for reporters.
“Studies have shown that the virus survives better in cold and dry environments and worse in warm and humid ones,” Trump said.
