The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Additive Chemistry of ANAS was held.

Opening the event, director of the institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev, said that starting May 31, 2020, attendance at all institute employees was restored due to the lifting of restrictions on the number of employees in state institutions by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet. He noted that the scientific institution has taken measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. The scientist advised employees of the institute to strictly observe the rules established at work and when using public transport.

V. Farzaliyev instructed the heads of relevant laboratories and departments to monitor employee attendance, the use of protective masks and disinfectants, as well as compliance with the requirements for maintaining social distance in laboratories.

The director of the institute noted the importance of organizing a preliminary discussion of master's theses and following guidelines for preparing for basic defense.

He also noted that priority tasks have been identified to expand the activities of scientists, young scientists and specialists, to develop international relations for their integration into world science. He said that for this purpose, starting next month, separate meetings will be organized with the staff of each laboratory, and discussions will be held in accordance with the activities of these laboratories.

The meeting also discussed the status of the preparation of semi-annual reports for 2020. An exchange of views was held on agenda items and suggestions were made.
