A preliminary discussion of the theses of graduates studying at the Institute of Polymer Materials of ANAS took place.

The meeting, which was held in compliance with the rules of social distance in connection with the pandemic, was attended by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Mammadov, Deputy Director for science, Doctor of chemical sciences Kazim Guliyev, head of the Department of Education, PhD in chemistry, associate professor Almaz Chalabiyeva, Scientific Secretary, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Solmaz Rzayeva, supervisors of graduates and laboratory managers.

The event discussed theses of second-year graduates in the field of “Chemistry of Composite Materials” and “High Molecular Compounds” Sevil Sherbatli and Royal Guliyev, who successfully completed their research and scientific-pedagogical practice in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Graduates, making a presentation, gave detailed information about the study and the results obtained. Discussions were held on topics, young researchers answered questions addressed to them.

Bakhtiyar Mammadov expressed confidence that the knowledge and experience acquired by young researchers in research laboratories will play an important role in more efficient organization of their future activities, and gave them recommendations.

In conclusion, it was decided to submit the theses of both graduates for basic defense.
