The first solar eclipse of 2020 will occur on June 21.
This was reported by the Deputy Director for Science of the Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after N.Tusi, PhD in Physics Khidir Mikayilov. According to him, the eclipse will start at 07:46 am Baku time and end at 13:34 pm. The maximum eclipse will be at 10:41am. This natural phenomenon will last about 5 hours 48 minutes.
Khidir Mikayilov said that the eclipse will be observed in Africa, Southeast Europe and Asia.
Note that a partial solar eclipse will be observed in Azerbaijan. The eclipse started at 08:47 and will last until 11:05.
