Today, Russian Academy of Sciences proposed a solution to an important problem for Russian science - how to avoid paperwork and speed up the process when a scientific discovery becomes an innovation and a product on the market. The academy proposes the creation of a departmental body responsible for the development of science. As the head of the organization, Alexander Sergeyev, explained at the general meeting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, this will quickly and efficiently coordinate the ministries that oversee various deputy prime ministers and make important decisions. In addition, the Academy intends to apply to the Ministry of Education and Science with a proposal in the scientific industry, the “regulatory guillotine,” as they did in economics.
