A vaccine being developed for coronavirus will help effectively deal with future pandemics. The new benefit of the vaccine was announced by Professor Robin Shattock of Imperial College London (UK). Shattock's key points were published on the college website.

Scientists called the developed technology for the production of vaccines from COVID-19 universal, that is, it can be adapted and applied in the fight against new epidemics. The new technology will allow the production of millions of doses of vaccines in a few weeks, while the cost of the drug will be relatively low.

Unlike other coronavirus vaccine samples, the drug developed by Shattock and his colleagues is produced synthetically. According to the expert, after intramuscular injection, the drug enhances RNA and stimulates the body's immune response to infection. Other COVID-19 control agents are typically based on growing a virus or protein.
