In the program "Tele Səhər", which is broadcast on the AzTV channel, a story was shown about the satirical and humorous journal "Molla Nasraddin". The plot contained interviews with the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, academician Isa Habibbayli and head of the department of this institute, Professor Vugar Ahmad.

In his speech, academician Isa Habibbayli said that the article “I have come to you, my Muslim brothers!” Published in the first issue of Molla Nasraddin journal allows you to define the direction of the journal. All thoughts that are reflected in the journalism of people of Mollanasraddin collected in this article.

According to the scientist, the journal is a multivolume collection of works by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh and all people of Mollanasreddin and, at the same time, an encyclopedia of Azerbaijanism. The publication played an important role in the formation of the literary generation of people of Mollanasraddin.

In his interview, Professor Vugar Ahmad noted that the journal "Molla Nasraddin", which is a clear example of critical realism, has created schools of journalism and fine arts, and has nurtured the genius Mirza Alakbar Sabir. The literary movement, in which Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev, Aligulu Gamkusar, Ali Nazmi, Mammad Said Ordubadi took part, subsequently grew into a literary school. It should also be emphasized that such outstanding artists as Joseph Rotter, Oskar Schmerling and Azim Azimzadeh have collaborated with the journal.
