The fastest coronavirus test was developed and launched in Italy after the approval of the Ministry of Health.

The test was developed in the city of Merate, north of Milan, in collaboration with the University of Sannio, and is performed using the patient's saliva.

The test results can be found within three minutes after the test. Because of its speed, it was named the "Daily Tampon".
