Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On December 17, at 15: 00 next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at small conference room of the main building of ANAS (Huseyn Javid ave., 115, second floor). President, Vice-Presidents, academic secretary of ANAS, directors of scientific and academic departments, office chiefs and heads of departments of the Presidium of ANAS as well as other scientists and experts will attend the meeting.

The agenda includes the following key tasks:

- About the hold of I Congress of the scientists;

- About organization of the discussion of Annual reports;

- About competition of scientific research programs;

- About exhibition of innovation and inventions, utility models and industrial designs;

- About ANAS publishing plan.

Board of Directors of Scientific Institutions was established by the decision of Presidium dated October 17, 2013. The main purpose of the establishment of Board of Directors is to increase the efficiency of reforms in the management at ANAS, development of relations between academic institutions, develop effective mechanisms for conducting research as well as to increase professionalism in the field of administrative management.

It should be noted that the Chairman of the Board of Directors is President of ANAS Akif Alizadeh.
