Astronomers at Rice University in the United States have calculated that after sunset on December 21, the planets Jupiter and Saturn will approach each other at a minimum distance in the night sky.

Researchers say that the planets have not been so close to each other since the Middle Ages.

It was noted that if the weather allows, it will be possible to observe an unusual natural phenomenon from anywhere on Earth.
