Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientists of ANAS Central Botanical Garden have published “Bioecology, reproduction and protection of unique woody plants of Azerbaijan” book.

Authors are Magsud Gurbanov, corresponding member of ANAS leading researcher of Central Botanical Garden and Elman Isgender, lab chief Dr. Biology.

New edition of the 276 pages embraces data on the bioecological features of 43 rare and endangered species of woody plants representing 24 families and 36 species in the in situ and ex situ conditions in a comparable form. Edition provides information on taxonomic composition of rare and endangered trees and shrub species and their bioecological, botanical-geographical features observed under different conditions as well.
