Head of the Mycology Laboratory of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences Dilzara Agayeva, young researchers L.Abasova and E.Iskanderli took part in the webinar held within the EUROCASTANEA - European Chestnut Network.

The webinar will focus on the invasive endophyte Gnomoniopsis castaneae, which causes rot in chestnuts, its diagnosis, spread, biological and chemical control of the fungus, and the management of latent infections.

At the event, mycologists from a number of European countries reported on the latest research in this area.

After the speeches, an extensive discussion was held based on the questions of the participants.
